On Friday, June 18 Rock Pink proudly presented a check for $5000 to Robin Maynard, founder of Libby's Legacy to the delight of the 10,000+ fans in attendance at Amway Arena and the millions watching the game between the Orlando Predators and the Jacksonville Sharks on the NFL network.
Rock Pink's support of Libby's Legacy enables the organization to offer no cost screenings for those that cannot afford them.
Rock Pink Vice President Angie Carloss stated: "Rock Pink and Libby's Legacy make a perfect team. Both organizations are very grassroots oriented and reach out to a demographic that is often overlooked". President Mark Hollamon added "supporting Libby's Legacy was an easy decision for our Board. Here is an organization that doesn't just offer somebody a free mammogram and send them on their way. They assign case workers to ensure that when an individual requires additional testing or if treatment is necessary that somebody is there to help them get the services they need to continue their journey to recovery".
